Effective Date: July 12, 2026

By utilizing the freight forwarding, customs clearance, and logistics services of Himalayan Global Logistics, the Customer (Shipper/Consignee) explicitly agrees to the following terms:

1. Accurate Cargo Declaration & Invoicing

Legal Declaration: The consignee must declare the exact nature, quantity, and value of all items to be imported. Every item must completely match the accompanying commercial invoice and packing list.

Compliance with Law: All goods handed over to us for transport or clearance must be entirely legal to import under the prevailing laws of Nepal.

2. Consignee Liability & Indemnification

Absolute Liability: If any undeclared, misdeclared, restricted, or illegal items are found within the shipment, the consignee will be held solely and legally liable for all consequences.

Company Non-Responsibility: Himalayan Global Logistics will not be responsible or legally liable under any circumstances for fines, cargo seizures, delays, or legal actions caused by false or incorrect declarations made by the consignee.

Cost Recovery: The consignee agrees to fully reimburse our company for any penalties, legal fees, or extra storage charges incurred due to incorrect cargo information.

3. The Consignee must provide an official declaration on their company letterhead confirming that the shipment contains no illegal or restricted goods. If any illegal items are discovered, the respective company and its proprietor will be held solely and exclusively liable for all legal and financial consequences.
